Melody Warford - Media Guru & Missionary

Caution: This section NOT for the faint-hearted! How will you know unless I tell you? Please read on. . . . . . . .Things you may not have thought about:Did you know, that I send out close to 500 letters when I mail out my news? In addition to that I have almost 400 more people who receive emails. Out of that there have been a few people that contribute to this ministry now and then as the heart leads for which I am deeply grateful. But out of all the newsletters I send out, less than 20 individuals are currently regular monthly individual supporters. On the whole, I pay for the trips that I take to do media projects for missions, and only ask missionaries to provide room and board. After years of serving, this is what I know God has called me to do. I must provide for expensive equipment, and expensive airfares... Oh, and eat! Let’s not forget that one. In addition, there is so much more going on behind the scenes that I can’t even begin to express. For instance, there are Ugandans my ministry helps support. Some do media missions work. Some are starting an orphanage because they came from one. Some children are being given an education and Christian encouragement which they would not receive at all if not for this ministry. The PointI write all this to encourage you to consider becoming a monthly sponsor for my ministry. Did you know that the founder of SIL and Wycliffe Bible Translators raised support to begin that ministry during the Great Depression?
